Afternoon, folks.

Actually Orc is intrigued by the writing that accompanies the job at least in the posting, it's the moving to Seattle (which we have only a few problems with - mostly monetary), he's also the one with years of experience in community management (being a mod). I've only been an mod on and off for a few years. I like it though. We'll see if the job is still open when my grant runs out, then I'll have time to look into getting a special box. Personally though, I'm also debating Park Ranger - if it weren't for all those stupid people.

National Forests are the number 1 body dump location in the US. The lack of patrols means even a location that you can drive to may not be discovered for a few weeks, or months in the off season, if it's discovered at all.

(statistic was told to me several years ago and may no longer be accurate, but I know that the patrol personnel have not increased and I doubt any other security measures have been added.)

A real ranger knows that if the spot is remote enough - leaving the body unburied or in a shallow grave increases the chance of it being picked up and dispersed by scavengers. Now if it's near a campsite, the smell would be problematic of course. Ancient burial sites would have plant indicators...
