Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

More educational stuff (not like Melissa and Doug, but more like Thames and Kosmos). More science kits and models.

And a few girly things every now and then would be nice too.

More kid stuff that adults would be interested in too. I know it's intended to find stuff for people's kids, but after all that poll a bit ago showed most people who viewed the page were without children. So ...

Personally, I'm looking for items for toddlers/preschoolers.

In general, I only consider toy items that are under $20 (honestly, under $15).

I would spend more than that, but only if you were offering the exact items that I'd been longing for but hadn't picked up yet - like a Tag system with the phonics books bundle, for example, or a Bilibo (full size), or a Step 2 (or similar brand) jungle gym/slide/house/playset/etc that's 50% off retail.

Fathead graphics better suited to toddlers, like Handy Manny, rather than superheroes or tron.... again.

Also possibly decor (I need blackout curtains)... but offered in a variety of colors.

Kid stuff is tough because it's frequently not for my kid's age/gender/preferences, or it's something we already have (eg the stroller that's wooting off right now). Those are great deals that I'd have jumped on if I'd known about Woot when I had my first kid, but I don't need them now.

Completely agree with this. I have two toddlers, but I'm also interested in stuff that can be fun for grown-ups, too. The Rokenbok deal from a couple of years ago was the best woot ever.

I woot because I am.

Accessories to main items. For example cartridges for the leappads, or the add ons for different toys that end up killing the wallet. It's nice when you give us a deal on a major item but I still don't consider them dreading the extas that will be needed over time.

More toys for 6-14 kids (educational, board games, dolls/action figures, computer games, etc.). Every time I see a toy on here it is for infants and toddlers. The Littlest Pet Shop kits were perfect. More stuff like that.

Signatures are harshing my mellow.

How about an infant to toddler carseat deal? I'd buy 2 of them!
More infant things as well!

More toys, games, blankets, slippers, crafts, teaching supplies. Not so expensive please, people are having hard times. $5.00 shipping is great. we would not buy if it was higher. But allow us to buy in pairs. like two of each. If you sell one of each Item, and have three different Items and you have four kids to buy for you are out of luck. or you have to spend $5.00 for one more Item. Not fare! times are rough. AND what is up with all the high priced Items. WOOT WAS COOL, AND PRICES USE TO BE BETTER. PEOPLE CAN GET THE HIGH PRICE STUFF OTHER PLACES. WOOT WAS NICE,COOL STUFF FOR GREAT PRICE.

Surprise in the box; a la Cracker Jacks. Getting the box that you ordered is great, but if their was a cheapo toy surprise in the bottom of the package that would rock. Unless it was a rock.

If the items offered are cheap (like less than $15) then it seems weird to have to pay $5 for shipping on them, especially multiples. Some items lately have been like socks and hangers, and it just wasn't clear that they were worth that much with shipping on top. I'm more interested in higher value items for that reason.

I buy for my nephews, one is almost 2 and the other is 10. I would love to see more prominent listing of AGE APPROPRIATE for 4-6, or 10-12 on the listings, because I have never been a boy of any age. Also, totally agree with two of the comments: please have more things like cartridges for Leappads, or other learning toys, and more learning toys for older kids. Like me- I would love to play lightsabers with my nephew, but I am not going to have him pretend fight!!

Why don't you have a Kids.Woot Bag of Cuuuuuuuuuute!, with only Kids.Woot merch? split the Barrels of Crud and maybe more folks would have a chance to score one? Parents would fight over the Kids.Barrels of Crud and Non-Parents can fight over the Awesome.Barrels of Crud

Agreed. I mean, that is what the polls are about, right? Better marketing? I don't have kids but I always check here for things I might be interested in- science type toys, etc.

Some things I would love to see:

* More educational kits that parents and kids can work on together

* Sets of educational workbooks for various ages

* Kid-size musical instruments

* Fewer bendaroos and 3-D whaleshark puzzles (but that's just me - I'm sure there are people out there who are stoked about bendaroos and whaleshark puzzles).

Overall, I LOVE kids.woot. I've gotten some amazing and awesome deals from you guys. I love checking the site every day to see what's new!
