Don't need a stroller, but if I did, I'd be tempted to buy ONLY because you made fun of that annoying (is this going to get edited?) Toyota kid who I would love to drop kick.

If I needed one of these i'd be so tempted. It really is a super steal.
Trying to save my money until woot puts up another recaro convertible car seat though. THAT i need.

That is a great write-up. I'm loving the irony of a write up like that on a site like this.

Does anyone have one of these for a toddler? My son is already 24 lbs and he can be pretty tough on baby gear. I watched the video on their website, and the seat is held onto the frame essentially by two metal pegs. They claim it can carry a 55 lb kid, but I'm a little dubious.

My girlfriend (we are both in our 50s) has two grandkids now, both less than a year old. She was pretty amazed by this deal and we ordered one right away.

Now I'm regretting buying the Cybex stroller I got during the last Woot-Off. This is much better :-(

I own one for my granddaughter, this is a german engineered and design stroller, we have used it all kinds of terrain and it gets really banged up. It is a fantastic stroller.

The frame is very sturdy and hold up to 55 lbs very comfortably as stated. my grandduaghter is 35 lbs and loves to ride in here

It is 24 lbs with the seat, but with the wonderful shocks and how it handles, I think a few extra pounds is not a problem atall especially for the quality you are getting

I'm a little wary if only for the simple fact that I can't find a wealth of info out there on this stroller, apart from direct-from-company, and a precious few reviews. Any insight, people? "A good deal" is a good deal only if this thing is actually a good stroller...comparison with an arbitrary $349 pricetag elsewhere doesn't cut it (yet) for this frugal parent.

I bought a huge jeep "all terrain" stroller and the problem I have is that it won't fit in the damn trunk! I wonder if this would be even better. And, folks, don't discount the heavier weight when you are by yourself at the grocery store.

It folds almost flat into my daughters small suv in the back, and that is with the seat on

You will find that this stroller is being closed out for the new strollers, car seats, led lights and child backpack carriers being brought into the United States, Kiddy is new to the states and wants to make room for all the new product coming in, so the savings has been passed off to the consumers

Might be a good deal, but I still don't see the point in spending that much and not even getting a jogging stroller. My cheapo works just fine on pavement and my jogger works great when I run. Maybe for people who live in cities where they have to walk everywhere?

This looks a lot like the UPPAbaby Vista Stroller or the Britax B-Ready with a rear axel. Roughly the same weight at 24 lbs. This Kiddy stroller seems to have its origins in Europe, perhaps Italy.

It is very similiar to the Uppa Baby stroller, its origins are in Germany

Okay, thanks for clearing up the origin of this stroller. It definitely has that European flair with large wheel diameters and sturdy looks. Compared to other strollers with similar looks and features, I think this one has caught my eye. I've admired those other "luxury" strollers, but haven't been able to afford them. I'm looking to replace a well used umbrella stroller and this may be it.

Could you please share with us what are the dimensions of the actual seat (back of the seat to the top of the canopy, width)? The footrest seems to be a bit too high. I know it is adjustable, but only thing you can adjust is the angle. Is it long enough for child's legs? How high is the handle from the ground. My husband and I are fairly tall, and I would like to make sure I won't be kicking into the stroller with every step I take. Otherwise the stroller looks great. Thank you.

Do you (or anyone else) know how far it reclines?

Could you confirm the folded dimensions with the seat attached? Under the features section of the listing page, it says: "Can be folded together in seconds (24.4” x 11” x 37.4”)". However, it appears that the smallest dimension when folded is significantly more than the listed 11-inches based on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-JXenjMlno (at about 2:40) and the flyer that NightGhost linked to earlier which states that the dimensions for the folded frame are 62 x 95 x 28 cm matching the dimensions given by Woot in inches.

AKBopper, If you go to their website which NightGhost referenced above, there is a movie on how to assemble the Kiddy stroller out of the box. From what I can see, the seat back reclines about 45 degrees to the horizonal. The movie also shows a separate inter-changeable bassinet used for a full horizonal position.

Has anyone else found additional reviews besides the two on Amazon and one on CSN?

Does anyone here besides kathub have firsthand experience with this product?

The CSN review and one of the Amazon reviews appear to be written by the same "Kiddy Fan" user. I'm also a bit skeptical of glowing five-star reviews on Amazon when the reviewers, as in the case of this product, haven’t reviewed any other items and neither is listed as an “Amazon Verified Purchase”. Even when I feel a product merits five stars, I’ll usually have at least one quibble or suggestion for improvement that I’ll include in a review.

I bet if you checked GERMAN SITES you would find more reviews. This is a GERMAN COMPANY. The Stroller was introduced into the market in 2010 in GERMANY. They are attempting to bring it into the US market, which is why they offered it to Woot at such an incredible price.

Thanks for your helpful contribution. I had searched Amazon's German site, but could not find any reviews for this stroller. If you know of any other big German shopping sites, please share.

nothing in the descrip mentions that this is a German-designed stroller. Thanks for the insight re country of design origin.

A second agreement with poster who questioned the very limited range of firsthand accounts with this stroller that we have to go on here. The brief, rave reviews found here--and there (Amazon)--remind me to be cautious of "planted" endorsements, for it's hard to tell what's what and who's who, on the good ol' web.

That said, it looks like a decent kiddie roller, and for the price, you could buy less stroller for more money, like, most everywhere.
