Morning everyone. Snow's stopped. Husband's out playing with the snow blower.

D'name - according to Rain's good morning list, it's "mydogkickzass" with a z.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

The first one, I cut the bag because it didn't look like it would. The second one, I used a spatula and it worked okay. Also added chopped onions and green peppers (the already chopped frozen ones, but defrosted).

Me too. NYC law.
You got your license and could legally drink on the same exact day.

So, the first place you drove was to the liquor store.

Because it is just weird to have anyone who can't drive.

The only person I ever knew who didn't drive was my Godmother and even she had a license.

My m-i-l, s-i-l and a neighbor are the only ones I know who don't drive. Of course, they're now 89, 69 and 78. It really restricted my m-i-l after her husband died.

My uncle was in the Navy and gone for long stretches of time.
She still didn't drive.
Weird
Had the license. Was the generation that got licenses late. I think sometime in the mid 60's all the women in the neighborhood learned to drive.
But she never drove.
My mom learned so she could get to the hospital when my dad was sick. That was back in the day where a two or three month stay was normal. There was no way to get there on public transportation.

I've been using livestrong.com and tracking exercise plus food. It really helps. Mornings, I go to the gym and lift weights, then run 2-4 miles most every afternoon. Hit a bit of a plateau, think I wasn't eating quite enough, but I'm back in the mode now.

I've lots to lose...but I feel better now!
