WHAT?! No Keychain Screaming Monkey?!?!??!

That's pretty much why I kept tabs on this woot off.

There was a screaming monkey on woot before the shirts.

Normally all woot-offs, both kids and normal woot, end with the monkeys

Shhhhhhhh. Remember this is KIDS.woot.

The five little monkeys are tucked in bed... scratch that, they're jumping on the bed and about to be bopped. Sweet dreams, little ones :-)

I wonder how close in size the paddles are to "standard" size...

Is the net seriously only 10" long?

CrazysNicole

Well since there were no monkey keychains, I went and got me another shirt. Now I'm off to go cry with my adult monkeys over their fail attempt to breed again.

So what size net is it? I'm sure it's not 10"...

Will that net sans poles fit onto standard ping-pong table?

I think that might be a typo. This site says 30".

We're trying to confirm.

But a 10" x 6" net just doesn't make sense.

micmash

How long is the net and how big are the paddles? it gives dimensions but they sound like they are more for the packed box and less for the unfolded net and paddles.

Has anyone confirmed actual size of the net? 10" net wouldn't be so fun to play with :o

a standard ping-pong table is 60" wide, so if this net ends up being about 30" (as noted earlier in this discussion), it won't quite work...

It would work perfectly if you put two nets side by side.

30" x 2 = 60"

Sounds like a good way to spend a work lunch... hmmm.

in theory, that seems right--but in practice, i'll bet you'd have to drill extra holes in one of the poles so that you could span two nets among three poles because those bases are so wide. otherwise, you'd have the end poles either completely off the table or precariously hanging there...

well, since i appear to be railroading this discussion, i'll tackle this question, too: according to the table tennis rulemakers, there isn't a real "standard" size for the paddles. weird, eh? so unless the manufacturers didn't test the set at all, i'm guessing that the paddles will be in proportion to the rest of the set. hopefully?!

Well there are reviews if you search for them, but yes, I should have referred to this particular page as "info". I, however, was the one who originally posted this link... so...
