Welcome to another edition of Educational Video, a glimpse back to the glory days of educational films. In today’s 1947 video, we learn that Joan’s mother never learned the basics of avoiding germs and general health at home. but thanks to her daughter’s teacher, she is learning how to dress properly and dose out cod liver oil. We also see the stereotypical roles of the neat & proper girl versus germ-filled boys.

In this video, pay attention as you will learn:

• If you splashed in puddles, you got to go home early from school
• Kids got to stay home a lot more often back then
• Spitting in the toilet reduces germs in the bathroom
• Boiling dishes is necessary to kill germs from the infected ones

Yes, had they known this and more, poor George and Jim wouldn’t have missed out on all the fun.

So we now know:
People who make educational video are OCD
You wear snow suits when it is 40 degrees
There were boxes of rubbers in the class coat closet
If you want to go home from school, walk in a puddle
You use a measuring cup to brush your teeth
You stay home from school if your eyes look queer
You can't leave a child home alone, but you can let a young child walk alone to school.
You have to wash your hands every time you touch your dog
Cod liver oil is liquid sunshine
Only one little girl had on pants in kindergarten.
Dutch people are clean

We don't know what a Kermis? is .

WE LURV YOU TOO! Dork!!!
