I remember this game from Christmas working at Wal-Mart last year. It was the board game that year for kids and we couldn't keep it on the shelf.

Year before that was the one with the mechanical fish you fish for.

Not as fun as the original...but hey I am 24 now.

My kid sister told me it's not as fun!

I just thought about getting this a couple of weeks ago for my pre-schooler's upcoming birthday and it was 16.99 on the shelf. Glad I waited.

(Also got two more to save for kid gifts)

I got this for my 3 year old Grand daughter this past Christmas and she loves it. It is a simple game and teaches shapes and sizes. She even beats me most of the time and that is wonderful!

My mother gave this to my 3 year old daughter last Christmas and she loves it. It's a great game for learning how to play games. It's super simple, but teaches how to follow the rules, take turns, etc. Plus flipping that candy cane lever is pretty fun.

Definitely recommend this game. My 3 year old got it for Christmas and she loves it. My 6 year old loves playing it too because it's a game we can all play together.

Ditto to all.

Great game for the kids. My 5 year old likes to put all the pieces in the tower and yank the lever back and forth as fast as possible.

Thankfully, the star pieces aren't that sharp, and he can't pull hard/fast enough for them to actually embed in my skin yet.

When he's actually playing instead of launching, he has a ton of fun and kicks the carp out of me most of the time.

My nephew has this and played it all for a week, and never had the urge to again. I blame the Nintendo DS he got for that very same Christmas.

Now this game sits in it's little box on the shelf of other forgotten board games. If only the pieces were edible...

We got this game a couple years ago for my daughter for Christmas. I think it is a great variation of the original for the younger children. Easy to play, teaches turn taking, shapes and colors.

My oldest daughter loved to play this game when she was 2-3. Now my youngest loves it too (almost 2). I'm in for 3. Easy presents.

My 2.5 year old LOVES this game. Last September (when he was barely 2) we took it on a family vacation and he had to fight his 6 year old cousin for it! (though I suspect it would NOT be a good present in general for a 6 year old)

Funnest parts: 1) Stacking the pieces inside and then moving the part to make them go shooting out of the castle

2) Pretending the plastic pieces are cookies (to eat)

He also plays with it properly (IE putting the pieces in the shaped spots) -- it works very much like the M&D puzzles there. I have not had success getting him to take turns on this one.

I love this game! We bought this for my daughter when she turned 3, and it's very entertaining. She's now 4 and still loves to play it. She can play independently with another child. So many kid's games need an adult's assistance.

My 3 year old loves this game, and the children in my preschool class spend lots of time playing it.

You can play it as individuals (each person has their own gingerbread card), or as a team effort...depending on the level your child is at.

My order keeps having problems and won't go through. I've tried from multiple computers (including my phone) and multiple credit cards. Anyone else having problems?

My 4 and 5 yr old love this. They've pretty much outgrown the game, but still love yanking the handle and use it when playing restaurant. It doubles as a cookie-maker and a cash register for them. This is a great gift for a 3 year old - beyond that they will probably be bored with playing the game and are ready for the original Candyland.

Well, based on the reviews and my love of wooting, I'm in for 2. One for my kids and one to hold as a gift (great idea and for the price, couldn't pass it up).
The last shape sorted I purchased was taken over by my teenager where he and his friends would see how fast they could get the shapes in the box. I suspect I will have to hide this one from him. The candy cane lever looks pretty tempting. Shoot, I may have to hide this from myself!

Gee, my avatar looks just like me!

I had an issue where the gold button wouldn't click (someone telling me I shouldn't be shopping??). I went to woot.com and re-clicked on kids.woot. Seemed to work fine after that...
Or you can click on write us in the upper right corner to see if someone at woot can help you. They're pretty cool.

Thanks, emailed woot (great service btw) they offered suggestions. Called my CC company, they didn't even see the charges coming through from woot. Still waiting to hear back. I switch from a Discover Card to a Master Card and the order went through. Go figure. Might be a problem with woot hitting the Discover network? But I can't have been the only one using a Discover card...

I too can not process an order with my Discover card.

Got a message back this morning and service@woot.com said "We have since realized that we had a brief outtage with Discover, they were not accepting any orders from us and that since has been fixed."

I should get some random gristle for figuring it out before they did!

Glad I had another credit card to use...wait, maybe that isn't a good thing. Especially during a woot off.
