According to the kids.woot FAQ, they need some names for the kids.woot version of the ever-popular baby of the cosmos. I figure the sooner they have a name for it, the sooner they can dispense it to us, the parental masses. So lets throw out some ideas and get Woot rolling on this one!

I'll start things off...

The "Diaper Bag_of_Crap" (DBOC): 1 bag, which may or may not be suitable for use as an actual diaper bag, and 3 random items from deep in the bowels of...wait that sounds too sinister for the kiddies...3 random items from the happy, bubble-filled warehouses of kids.woot.com.

Your ideas?

My daughters call it the "Bag of Fun" because for some reason they still feel uncomfortable saying C-rap!

The Royal Blowout?

Or would that be a better name for the kids.woot version of a woot-off?

Also like the Bundle of Junk suggestion from the "Welcome to Kids.woot" thread.

Or simply call it a Bundle of Joy. That'll really make for some great conversations with non-woot friends and family. "Yay! Fed-Ex says my 24-lb bundle of joy should be arriving sometime tomorrow!"

Why not just call it a kids used diaper? I know for me nothing says surprise!!! quite like that first peek into a kids used diaper ;)

It also makes sense to say things like:

"I hope I get a kids used diaper!"

"I hope my kids used diaper has some great craps in it!"

"How many craps are in your kids used diaper?"

Think of the possibilities!

Also I like Turkens idea to call a kids wootoff a "blowout".

How about Excuse-For-A-Box
Since most kids get the most enjoyment out of the packaging material (be it bags, boxes, packing peanuts, Genuine Texas Air, etc)

"I would like to buy 1 box for my son, and throw some stuff in it that he can quickly discard in obvious preference for the brown paper container it all came in."

My 2 cents:
"Pointless Potty Pouch" or "Pointless Poo Pouch"

How about 'Jack-in-the-bag'. Sorta like you don't know jack crapp but for kids it would sound like a bag with a surprise because of course the kids don't know jack crapp.

Random Diaper

Could be extra crappy or regular crappy. Either way it's what we expect from any Woot! site.

Or Diaper of scaffolding?

This one reminds me of Cracker Jacks, which is appropriate since you never knew what prize you'd find inside. Since kids might not go for "Crapper Jacks", how about "Jack-in-the-Box"?

Instead of "Jack in a Box" why not call it "Junk in a Box"

This would be something applicable for all ages of children.
If one were to use the term "diaper bag" or something to that extent, it may imply that the items enclosed would should only be used for infants and may narrow your target market.
An 11 year old boy will not want to order something called the bag of Diapers but they would proudly order something called "Junk in a Box" ( I know this from extensive, first hand market research, ...I just asked my 11 year old son)

I like dirty diaper, but in keeping with the poetic flow, how about 'diaper of dung'. And honestly, doesn't the original b_a_g o' c_r_a_p work just as well?

Whenever there is a Woot off, I tell my son I am trying to get the random "Bag of Stuff" (so as not to use "scaffolding" in my language).

My son has what seems to be perpetual gas, which we refer to as toot's. So our suggestion is "Bag_O_Stinky_Toot's" or "Random Toot's"

How 'bout just Bagged Miscellaneous? I'm sure that would fill the joke quota.

I am surprized no one thought of the obvious..
The Pregnancy Test Box

the whole concept being.. you anxiously await the outcome.. Hmm.. need to work on the name.. I like the concept.. And no matter what the outcome, the reaction works either way. Happy or Sad for either..

maybe the icon could be a little stick with nothing yet in the window.. Hmmm

Or what about..

Package Of Poopie

Of course, you couuld just go with the obovious, but long..

"this is something you would never even contempate buying from even a dollar store, yet we make it a mysetery and sell it for a dollar, and now you just can't wait to have it! Even if that damn Woot monkey will just sit on the shelf with a broken scream box after only two days of flinging it as hard as you could against the wall and now Woot won't take it back because it shakes inside, maybe we can just hope it's a $50 ROBOSAPIEN!!!!"

Let's take that potty training metaphor to the next level and provide positive reinforcement for woot purchases during a kid's woot-off. When my grandchild goes peepee in the potty she is rewarded with one m&m. For every purchase during a woot-off the wooter receives a chance for the Boggy Old Creature. Wooters with a ticket could get a coupon code to increse their chance of getting a Boggy Old Creature.

I haven't had any luck the old fashioned way...I need an edge to get lucky!
